We are spring cleaning our e-newsletter database to clean away all the emails that are out of date. A newsletter was sent to all subscribed emails on Friday 5 September 2008. If you did not receive this email, then you may need to update your email address with us. To do this, simply send an email to info@screen.tas.gov.au with ‘Subscribe e-newsletter’ in the subject and we will add you to our list.

Can I publish an article in Screen Tasmania’s e-newsletter?

Yes, absolutely. If you have news or an exciting event coming up, please don’t hesitate to send it through to us so we can share it with the rest of the industry.

Our regular sections include:

  • News (articles on industry developments, achievements and success stories)
  • Opportunities (a call for crew attachments, information on special initiatives etc)
  • Call for entries (a call for entries into industry programs – usually film festivals)
  • Coming up (conferences, seminars, courses, festivals, premieres and any other exciting events)

To have your article considered, simply forward information about your activity or event to info@screen.tas.gov.au with ‘E-NEWSLETTER’ in the subject, in accordance with the 2008 publishing dates below.

Articles should be of a not-for-profit nature and in the interest of the screen community. No advertising articles will be accepted. The editor cannot guarantee your article will be published.

Can I have information posted on the Screen Tasmania website?

Sure can. If you have some information you would like to share with the screen industry, please forward details to info@screen.tas.gov.au with ‘WEBSITE’ in the subject and your information will be considered. Our regular sections include:

EVENTS AND DEADLINES (http://www.screen.tas.gov.au/news/events/index.php)

  • Conferences and seminars
  • Courses (any course run by an educational institution where a certificate is issued upon completion)
  • Film Festivals/Call for entries (a call for entries into industry programs – usually film festivals)
  • Opportunities (a call for crew attachments, information on special initiatives etc)

Please ensure you have supplied all the relevant information, including:

  • an activity description (one to two paragraphs only)
  • deadlines
  • any significant dates
  • how much it will cost
  • where to go for more information.
