Arista - Business of Development National Conference 2008

21 – 23 July 2008

Screen Tasmania would like to announce that there are currently a limited number of subsidised places available for the Arista Business of Development National Conference 2008.

Arista BOD is a seminar dedicated to a concentrated examination of script development in the film industry. It will look at a range of issues, both practical and theoretical. Participants will undertake a detailed practical guide to developing a story including how to read, understand and analyse screenplays and a step by step guide to high-quality report writing.

Practitioners who successfully complete this seminar will be favourably considered as potential script assessors and/or script editors for Screen Tasmania. Only those practitioners with genuine interest and ability in the particular area of expertise should apply.

Who can apply

All applicants must meet Screen Tasmania’s general eligibility criteria, in addition to the following:

  • Tasmanian practitioners who have a demonstrated commitment to a professional career in the screen industry and appropriate level of experience, track record or ability in the nominated area of development.
